Per bsnf in a post today in the Lenovo forum, USA OTA2 should be ready Friday.

"I got an update that the certification should be done by Friday. You should start seeing the US image on Friday."

I will. Probably won't get to it til Saturday though. Mainly I've used root to delete some bloatware but have been unable to set nightmode with Chainfire 3D.

Assuming success, would you be willing to post the steps to take with Rootkeeper, all the way through update and root restore? I'm very new to this and would appreciate the instructions to follow.

I just wanna make sure of something. I have root already so will the OTA 2 update try to install automatically or is there some confirmation option in order for it to run?

don't know for rooted one, for the other, I think the update is donwload on the tablet, and is install only after you reboot the tablet (as what I've read from other users)

Just for clarification, can someone who has installed OTA2 (non-US version) verify that you have to go to Settings, About, Check for Updates to download the update and it is not a push update for our tablet?
