I would imagine that when Lenovo release their ICS update that they will have patched the current exploit.  Just because one exists now doesn't mean that ICS is permanently rootable.  Gingerbread 2.3.5 had an exploit that did not work in Gingerbread 2.3.6.

I also agree. Google itself gonna patch it IMO. Companies like Lenovo won't like the exploits and Google do not want an unhappy OEM.
