Here is a version that does not check for or patch the FlexT9ChineseIME.apk.  Hopefully that will work.

Well the error is slightly different: now it has an error regarding FlexT9IME.apk rather than FlexT9ChineseIME.apk.  Are you sure your system is stock (no frozen apps, no apps deleted, no changes at all)?  I'm sorry but I don't have time to keep making updates over and over again.  I gave instructions on how to modify the update.zip so maybe you can follow those and keep removing things until it works.  There will be one line with a check and another set of 3 lines that applies the patch and you can comment these out by placing a "#" symbol before the line (just look at how I commented out FlexT9ChineseIME.apk if this is unclear).  If you comment out the check you should comment out the patch (some people have removed only the check with no problems but others have caused their system to become unbootable).  Another option would be to try to find stock apps (or a stock nandroid backup) for your current rom version from someone else and replace the problematic system apks you currently have installed to see if it will work.  Good luck.

Ok, I made one last update for you with no updates or checks for FlexT9IME.apk and FlexT9ChineseIME.apk.  If this one doesn't work then I'll leave it to you to make your own modifications.

Something seems to be wrong with your FlexT9IME applications, you could either try to get the current version of the apps from someone before you update and apply the normal update that patches them or after updating you could try to get a new version of them from someone on 089ROW so that you will be back to stock.

Yes, I did removed it after rooted it. I tried to do nandroid restore but does not work. I will try your trick and will update the result. Thanks

Hi GodFather,

Finally with your lastest update. It can be installed in my TPT already. Does this means that I still need to reinstall the FlexT9IME for the new update?

Thank you so much for your kind help.

Yeah, so you now have everything updated except the FlexT9IME.apk and FlexT9ChineseIME.apk.  You could ask to see if someone else on 089_ROW could send you the new versions of those apps, otherwise the checks will probably fail again on the next update.  I'd send them to you but I am US.  Personally I plan on switching over to the CM9 port once they have the bugs ironed out, so then the checks won't matter then.

You have to apply each update up to the latest one because these are incremental updates. Start with the 0075_ROW update next. Now if you get another error then feel free to ask again.

I don't know about the idle restart in CWM but that shouldn't be a problem if it's 20 minutes even not idle.

Good luck,
Phish
