By popular demand I'm setting up this thread/sticky so that a 'bounty' to achieve root access of the ThinkPad Tablet can be encouraged and kept track of.   Several members of the forum, most notably Tekmason have been trying to entice members of XDA and rootzwiki to root the TPT with limited success and thus many members have been asking me to help push things forward by setting up this bounty in hopes a talented hacker/developer will achieve root.  In order to be declared successful and qualify for the pledged amounts the person(s) involved must achieve the following requirements:

1. Be first person to create a method of permanently unlocking the bootloader of the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet.
2. Make a post in this thread with the following:
    a. Proving it works with appropriate photos or screenshots
    b. Providing full step-by-step instructions by which anyone else can follow
    c. Wait for another member to follow the method and confirm it works

3. Once  these requirements are met and the consensus on the board as determined by myself or other admins of ThinkPadTabletForums.com agrees then,
    a.  You can then claim your bounty via PM from individual pledger(s) to be paid to a paypal account in your name. 

Please note that anyone participating in rooting their ThinkPad Tablet does so at their own risk and with full knowledge that they most probably are voiding their warranty.  Similarly, anyone proceeding to root their TPT once achieved also takes on that responsibility themselves.  With that said all those wanting to participate in pledging please post your pledge below.
