Do what S Prime suggests. If the usb drive still isn't recognized perform a reboot with it still plugged into the dock. Mine wasn't recognized until I rebooted with it in place. You only need to do that once with the tab and once with the dock.

Thanks to pghFL and S.Prime.

I did a reboot of the Tab with one of the USB drive in and it recognized and read it.

My other one was readable on my PC but doing the same reboot with it in the Tab it was not recognized.

Still curious but at least on is working. I will now try my new, fast 128 GB and see if it is still readable.
