So, has anyone received a shipping notification yet? Some third parties claim to have them in stock and shipping already.

 I ordered mine at 2:00 am EDT on the 23rd and it still shows shipping on the 12th as well. The rumor is that Lenovo will start shipping today, but I have seen no reports of anyone receiving shipment notification.

The email I received said it'll ship on 9/13...which probably means I won't see it til 9/20-9/23.

Bugs me that we have to wait practically a month for this.  If they were not ready to ship then why take orders on the 23rd?

I called Provantage today to ask if my 32GB included the pen (which their salesman told me it did when I asked last week). While checking out their website, the Thinkpad is now listed as in stock with 300+ available. So when the rep got on the phone, I asked him what was up with my order. After a few minutes, he came back on and said it was shipping out today. I saw the order completion email, but I'm still waiting to see the tracking number.

I sure hope y'all don't have to wait 2 more weeks before yours ship.

And FWIW, the model I ordered is 183825U and I confirmed with Lenovo that it does not include the pen, so I had to order that as well.

It's likely to ship before then, Lenovo has a history of having pretty much BS estimated dates. If they do in fact wait to ship till the dates their estimating that would be VERY upsetting. Especially since there are other 3rd parties who supposedly already have stock or are expecting stock this week.

I hope for that. 

Would love to be able to test tablets sites I'm working on with it...as well as blog some reviews.

As a reseller of Lenovo products, I can tell you that distribution has more of the 32GB Thinkpad tablets in stock than the 16GB tablets.  They are ready and available to order.

I hear you.  I guess that is a valid reason why I'm waiting (I bought a 16GB).  Makes sense from a business standpoint to have the higher-capacity ones available first.

Considering its expansion memory capabilities, I was hard pressed to justify more than 16GB for internal memory. I assume those with large app library memory needs will be able to run some apps from SD either as a standard Android function or through mod community support.

Ordered the 64GB w/ the pen at 00:30 on the 23rd. Just got off the phone not too long ago with a Rep., told me it's shipping out this week. So anyone who ordered in the first hour or so should ship out with mine.

Received my Provantage tracking number. Should be delivered by Thursday. I'm tickled because I was just hoping to have it by Sept 12th!

I ordered from Lenovo Direct just a couple hours after they started taking orders on the 23rd. I have no tracking number yet. When people that ordered from third party vendors start getting theirs way before I do... I'm going to be extremely upset.
